Cola®Lux C-8 is an octyldimethylamine oxide from a narrow cut amine, that provides good wetting and very low foaming characteristics. It is compatible with cost surfactants and because there are no amide or ester groups in its chemical structure, Cola®Lux C-8 will not hydrolyze in acid formulations.
Cola®Lux C-8 is also stable in highly alkaline and strong electrolyte systems. Cola®Lux C-8 is also uselful in hydrogen peroxide and sodium hypochlorite formulations, providing increased strike for better performance.

Cola^®Lux CAO-35 is a multi-functional amine oxide that provides good detergency, exceptionally high foaming, and viscosity control properties. When combined in the proper ratio with alkyl sulfates or alkyl ether sulfates, Cola^®Lux CAO-35 can be used to develop clear, mild, low pH shampoos/cleansers with substantial conditioning properties. It is useful in a variety of personal care and household applications.

Cola®Lux MO is an amine oxide-based zwitterionic surfactant with a C14 (tetradecyl) alkyl tail. It is used as a foam stabilizer and hair conditioning agent in shampoos and conditioners. Like other amine oxide-based surfactants, it is antimicrobial, being slightly more effective than lauryldimethylamine oxide against the common bacteria S. aureus and E. coli.

Cola®Lux O2 is an amine oxide that provides excellent viscosity building, foam stability and moderate foam boosting. Cola®Lux O2 is compatible with most surfactants and will not hydrolyze in acid or alkaline systems due to the absence of amide or ester groups. Used in low concentrations, Cola®Lux O2 provides a silky feel to body washes, liquid hand soaps and other skin cleansers. Cola®Lux O2 may also function as a viscosity builder and an anti-static agent.

Cola®Lux SO is a 25% active stearamine oxide. Cola®Lux SO is an excellent conditioning agent with conditioning properties comparable to quaternary ammonium compounds. Cola®Lux SO is slightly water soluble and solubility can be enhanced by blending with anionic surfactants to offer a clear formulation. Cola®Lux SO is an effective viscosity builder and useful in creating pleasing shampoo and hair rinse products. Cola®Lux SO is also gentle to both skin and eyes, causing no dermal or ocular irritation at 5% or less active use.
